We Saved A Little Wild Bird

While out for a drive to Sonic in Streetsboro, Ohio, to get in on the BOGO deal on milkshakes, we saw a little bird in the road, so we turned around and my wife got out, and fending off fast drivers, most people slowed down and were nice, but one guy in a big truck couldn't go by fast enough, yikes. She got to the poor little thing when it got to the side of the road.

It did not resist when she picked it up, and seemed not with it yet.

We think it was a finch, at first we thought it was a baby, but do not know for sure.

She got it to sit a little twig on a tree about 50 feet from the road, and it just sat there, but did flutter it's wings, so it looked OK as far as we could tell.

So, we left it there, and continued on, happy that the bird was OK.

The milkshakes were good.
