Review: Yours Truly Restaurant Charin Falls Ohio Friday Fish Fry
I judge the Friday Fish Fry's we try out on the best of all time, that is from Davie's in Maple Springs, New York, overlooking Chautauqua Lake. They have switched owners and new name and menu, so I am on a quest to find a substitute.
This was as close as you can get, so far. The fish is just great, fresh dipped in beer batter, and great portions. The taste is succulent, sweet, and delicious indeed. The only change would be for the batter to have been cooked a little lighter.
The red skinned grilled potatoes were good, and the slaw was just fine too.
And the $8.25 price is hard to beat. Come early as there is a crowd, and when they run out, that's it until the next Friday.
On the Diner Meter Yours Truly gets 5 stars for this.
