We went to the flea market and on the way back saw a hot air balloon taking off
So we stopped to take a 1 minute video.

This was taken using the memory card instead of the tape in my camcorder.
I think it will hold about 3 minutes worth of video, just plug it in the computer and open the file, may be OK for some things.
FOUND CAT
Found at our door Saturday night April 12
It is a young male, and was calling out to us at our door, appeared hungry, we gave it a can of tuna, and a blanket on the porch. In the morning he was still there. And he is still there now, post pics on Craigslist and a Video and a flyer here so the neighbors can see.
Update 6 weeks late: He started just coming around every other day, and now a week later no sign of him, so we suspect he 'adopted' himself a new family, so he is no longer here with us.
Getting Water at the Trout Farm
Our water at the house is very rusty, so every few weeks we go to the trout farm nearby to get our water jugs filled up at the artisian well.
The last part of the video is on the way back, our road to the house past the lake.
Spring Day
Spring is in the air, took the video camera out for a little walk around the backyard.
The ground was pretty wet, like a sponge, I 1st went out to try to sneek up on a chipmunk that was sunning itself on a branch of the rose bush, and was sorta napping too, its eyes were closing and its head was nodding a little. But it ran off when I got to close.
Book - The 4-Hour Workweek
I just read The 4-Hour Workweek, that has the extended title of Escape 9-5, and Join the New Rich, by Timothy Ferriss.
At first it sounds impossible, but the more you read the more it looks like it can be done. You do need your own business, and people to run it, but why wait 40 years to retire, when you can enjoy life now.
I will give it a try, a little at a time, so I can take time to do what I want.

April Fools Day Beaver 2008
So earlier in the day, the wind was howling outside, and there was a strong gust, so I call out to my wife, "Wow, there are fish falling from the sky!" knowing that it was Aprils Fools Day and all.
So she leaps up off the couch to look out the windows towards our dock, and I say "April Fools!"
A few hours later, I am in the office and she starts yelling that there is a beaver in the lake for me to come look. Naturally I thought since it was still April Fools Day that she was trying to get me. So I say, "yea, yea, sure, I wil be right there" and I just stayed in the office. She said "there really is one out there, get out here!"
In all the 6 years of living on the lake, I have not seen a beaver. Turns out there was, and a pretty good sized one at that with a great big 'ol flat tail, it was in the water near shore where clams were put in years ago as part of the lake restoration. The beaver was chowing down on the clams. So the joke was on me after all.
I ran outside with the video camera, but it was already swimming towards the 'lagoon' as we call it, so I missed the beaver eating the clams. We will keep an eye out for it again.
